Taka: this month’s soundcreator’s file is hosted by One Ok Rock.
[Starts introduction again]
Taka: at this point I would like to talk about the ‘live’ we play. Over the years we’ve been asked to play at a lot of ‘fes’ (festivals) and how to enjoy at ‘fes’, this is something we would like to talk about for the listeners out there.
Well to watch the artists play and to be the artist playing at the fes , the method to enjoy the ‘fes’ is entirely different. Like mingling around with the different artists behind their booths , bringing food backstage and eating alone is also possible.
[studio laughs]
Toru: that’s not fun right.
Taka: going around to see the different artists, there’s those kind of enjoyments.  So does everyone have a certain way of enjoying the festival?
Like tomoya do you have one?
Tomoya: well theres one rule that drummers have a village.(not sure about this part) Like when I go to the fes, they’ll be like “oh! Tomoya!!”,  I’ll be called by my seniors then we would talk for a little while. Then while talking another drummer would come over to talk and after that more would gather then it becomes a ‘drummer circle’ and we’ll forever be talking there.
Taka: so that’s fun for you?
Tomoya: ahh yea its fun
Taka: what do you guys talk about? Drummers..
Tomoya: well theres not a certain topic.
Toru: like “whats the shape of your stick like?”
Tomoya: e-yah but sometimes we do talk about sticks. At drummer meet-ups when we talk really deeply about things, we talk like maniacs. Theres like people who like to talk about (drum) parts. Like though I do not understand much about (drum) parts I mix well with those people.
Toru: of course you would
Tomoya: I’ll be like “ahh I also use this kind of parts but recently I changed to this”
Taka: how about for guitar toru?
Toru: eh? For guitar we’re quite separated. We only gather with very close people and before the live, if there’s time, we’ll eat together. After the live we’ll go drinking together.
Taka: ahh so that’s how it is.
Toru: we gather among ourselves often. Well for me I don’t really know a lot of people as well and Im not the kind to mix with people. So I do this with only close people.
Taka: how about ryota?
Ryota: well for bass, its almost the same (As toru). (with another bassist) Just two of us…
Taka: you talk bad about others
Ryota: no no!! that’s the worse! Just the two of us we go watch the different lives and talk about the bass, well for drums they have a village but for bass its really very little people.  But normally I always go watch (other’s) live.
[everyone agrees that that’s the most fun at ‘fes’]
Ryota: yeah watching from the side of the stage.
Taka: well you can stand on the stage and watch on the stage. It’s a whole new experience standing from a different angle to watch a live.
People from the same label and sometimes we get to meet people from the same company at the ‘fes’.
Ahh so that’s how it goes…
Toru: but on the other hand we’re being watched as well.
Taka: yea yea yea yea…
Toru: like every year their (the people) are increasing aren’t they, the people who come.
Taka: like you’d go “who the hell are you?!”, at ‘fes’ there’s such a thing. Like “ ahh who are you again?” and like “ what are you?!” their quite a lot of such people.
Toru: the people who suddenly pop up out of no where
Taka: I hate that. Those people who dosent care about others feelings and just keeps trying to talk to you. I don’t really like that overall. But theres a lot of such people aren’t there?
Like people where you go “ who are you!?”
Toru: well I guess its common among bandmen.
Taka: their bandmen? There are people who aren’t bandmen as well right?
Toru: its like people who like such events and they gather just for it..those kind
Taka: neh..thats very annoying. …really annoying…like you think “seriously!?!”
Ryota: I think mori-chan gets annoyed the most
Taka: I really cannot take it. Because that’s the place where all the bandmen are. Its okay with the people we’re close with but there are people that we really don’t know that just barges in. that one really, though we don’t really want to we have to entertain.
Well, so this is the kind of fes.
Depending on fes, the backstage is filled with good food and nice alcohols,
Tomoya: depending on the different fes they have varieties.
Taka: this, quite pitifully, is not known to the audience. This is an enjoyment that is only known by the performers at the festivals.  Well this is how we do our lives. Even for this summer. If you can perform at these festivals, do grab the chance and have a nice summer.
Ok with that I would like to play a song. I think this is the first time we’re playing this song on  the radio. Please listen, its one ok rock with ‘ONION’..
